Justice, Mercy, Forgiveness

Justice demands that those who suffer unjustly

at the hands of others must be compensated for

their suffering, and that those causing the suffering

must themselves so suffer. Where, then, does mercy

and forgiveness fit into such a pattern of inexorable

justice?

In the afterlife it is justice that prevails. In the

earth life it is mercy. Forgiveness comes later.
