TRULY A “CHURCH OF ALL RELIGIONS”
Astara is a complement to any religion. For those who profess no specific faith it is a compendium of them all. But it is not a traditional viewpoint. It is, instead, mystical and esoteric. It is the deeper and more individualized view, the more personal practice. No organized denomination of any religion can present the viewpoints to be witnessed through Astara's teachings, for organization cannot allow the individual the latitude, the variance of personal belief, which is inherent in Astara.
Here, in a common wave of souls seeking light, are to be found Christian, Jew, Hindu, Moslem, Buddhist and the adherent of many another faith as well as members of none. Walking the Astarian path offers the seeker a unique freedom. Unlike a cult, Astara presents an ever-widening image of spirituality, encouraging each seeker to walk his or her personal path. Never are Astarians told what or who to believe.
PRAYER FOR HEALING AND HELP WITH PROBLEMS:
Astarians around the world request prayers for healing -- for physical illness, emotional and mental disturbances, psychosomatic illness -- not only for themselves but for others. Letters from members everywhere attest to innumerable healings. By using the petitions sent to you monthly, you may request healing prayers at any time.
Healing prayers are not intended to supplant the physician or any other form of healing. They do add the essential spiritual dimension to other healing sciences.
When confronted with a difficult problem regarding any of life's apparently unyielding situations, you may receive added prayer help by sending a 'Cosmic Help Petition' to Astara. We all share the same light when our needs are placed within it. Every problem is held in strictest confidence.
As with healing prayers, instances of benefit are described by Astarians around the world -- new opportunities, personal relations improved, better positions gained and numerous other aids.
MONTHLY PERIODICAL WITHOUT CHARGE
Each month, active members receive The Voice of Astara containing spiritual and philosophical articles and news of Astara and Astarians. It also contains announcements of new publications, the latest book list, letters from members and announcements of special Astarian activities.
BOOKS AND TAPES EXTEND KNOWLEDGE
If you wish additional study, Astara publishes books and tapes on a wide variety of esoteric and metaphysical subjects by a number of teachers and authors.
