Astara is a complement to any religion. For those who profess no specific faith it is a compendium of them all. But it is not a traditional viewpoint. It is, instead, mystical and esoteric. It is the deeper and more individualized view, the more personal practice.
No organized denomination of any religion can present the viewpoints to be witnessed through Astara's teachings, for organization cannot allow the individual the latitude, the variance of personal belief, which is inherent in Astara.

Walking the Astarian path offers the seeker a unique freedom. Unlike a cult, Astara presents an ever-widening image of spirituality, encouraging each seeker to walk his or her personal path. Never are Astarians told what or who to believe.
Why have so many from the great sea of spiritual seekers crested at Astara? Because there was a need, a yearning, in their souls. They had need to reach out from the common sea to the shore of that divine land of which a profound personal understanding and a mystical combination of religion and science is the beach.
In whatever placid and contained reservoir they have drifted heretofore, at Astara they find the shining high tide of understanding and personal spiritual achievement. They find that to crest upon that mystic shore, to be truly at one with the infinite, is the ultimate spiritual realization.

Healing prayers are not intended to supplant the physician or any other form of healing. They do add the essential spiritual dimension to other healing sciences.
